Position Summary

The Product Administrator assists with coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the accurate execution of projects and ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Product Administrator assists with writing the project scope and objectives for new product activities, communicating with necessary stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy. He/She assists with documenting the completed detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. The Product Administrator will document changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs as directed by the Director of Product Development and Design. Assists with communication to third parties/vendors.

 

 

The Project Administrator reports directly to the Director, Product Development and Design

 

There are no direct reports to this position.

 

This position regularly supports the team members in the Product Development and Design Department, as well as other members of Sales, Billing, Implementation and Support as required.

 

 

 

Essential Functions

  • Documenting packaging and pricing for all Telesystem products and services.
  • Scheduling and conducting new customer trainings.
  • Creating AFEs and Auditing new vendor invoices for accuracy and approval.
  • Working with the Cogs Analyst to ensure International Usage Rates are updated and competitive.
  • Work with the Marketing team to document and update marketing strategies, programs, and support material for new and existing products.
  • Completing assigned tasks during the development and general availability launches/deployment of new products/services.
  • Work with the Marketing team in creation of materials for market/sales initiatives concerning special/promotional competitive pricing;
  • Prepare content for periodic internal and customer/ agent facing newsletters
  • Documenting competitive intelligence;
  • Documenting vendor device and program availability as well as EOL / EOS status changes
  • Documenting retail pricing to wholesale cost, ensuring Telesystem retains required margins;
  • Ensuring all Commercial billing codes are input, changed, and maintained in the billing system;
  • Work with the Marketing Team to update customer collateral (user guides, training documents, web trainings, etc), in conjunction with Marketing;
  • Work with Marketing Team to document internal product collateral and conduct product gap analysis
  • Maintaining vendor program access for team members certifications and partnership requirements
  • Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures, including the EEO and safety guidelines, at all times;
  • Perform any miscellaneous department duties as needed.

 

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required
  • Previous experience with Software applications: MS Office 2007 or above – required
  • 1 year experience in customer support in a business environment – required
  • Experience in the Telecom industry - preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

  • Walking, kneeling, standing, stooping, sitting, driving, hearing, talking, vision (close, distant, color, depth perception, adjust focus), and use of hands and fingers. Light lifting of 50 lbs. is occasionally needed.
  • The Product Administrator is a full-time, non-exempt position. The regular work hours are 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday. These hours may vary to accommodate the needs of the department.
  • The Product Administrator works in an automated business office environment with business office equipment including telephones, personal computers, copy machines, and FAX equipment.
  • The Product Administrator is required to drive on the job as needed and is subject to regular MVR checks. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record the meets Company standards for an insurable driver at all times. Any time these conditions are not met, must not drive on the job and must immediately report it to their supervisor.
