MaxxSouth Broadband is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to lead our Business Class and Field Sales Team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service and retention. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, B2B sales experience, and a customer-first mindset to help grow our business and support our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and manage Business Service Representatives and TAC Team II/Sales Engineers
- Monitor daily sales operations and ensure teams meet monthly quotas and KPIs
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to grow and retain the customer base
- Train, mentor, and onboard new sales team members
- Analyze performance metrics and implement coaching plans to improve results
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and manage disciplinary actions
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
- Resolve customer complaints and collaborate with internal departments for escalations
- Host regular team meetings and communicate updates on products, services, and procedures
- Represent MaxxSouth at company and community events
- Manage team schedules, approve time sheets, and ensure territory coverage
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent – required
- Associate’s Degree in sales management or related field – preferred
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience – required
- 3+ years of telecommunications experience – required
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role – required
- Working knowledge of CSG – preferred
- Experience with Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) – preferred
